Pablo Rodríguez Díaz, the young oleiro from Buño who goes beyond borders

Pablo Rodríguez, a 30-year-old from Buño (Malpica, A Coruña) has left everything behind to build his personal project. At the age of five he was already in contact with clay, at 15 he was giving classes and is currently a professional lathe operator.

Pablo Rodriguez, a 30-year-old native of Buño (Malpica, A Coruña) has opened this week in A Coruña ‘Risco Estudio’, a pottery workshop in which he will focus from now on after leaving everything behind, since until just a year ago he lived in Australia. At the age of five he was already in contact with clay, learning from his uncle, who is oleiro, and helping his grandmother to sell pieces of this traditional Galician pottery. At the age of 15 she was already giving classes and after a time of absence in this world, she has reconciled with it and has spent the last year with intensive learning to be able to carry out this special personal project.
